The kitchen, reconsidered

The heart of the house deserves the whole team.

Your kitchen is where the house actually happens — mornings, homework, holidays. A remodel here touches cabinetry, stone, plumbing, electrical, and finish carpentry all at once, so the trades have to move together. That's exactly what we're built for.

Because design, stone fabrication, and the build all live under the Deluxe Art roof, there's one plan and one crew. No waiting on an outside slab yard, no scheduling three contractors who blame each other. We hand you a detailed, line-item price up front — the number you approve is the number you pay.

Most of our kitchens come from a neighbor who saw the last one. We'd like yours to be the next one they point to.

What's included

Everything your kitchen needs

A full remodel is more than new cabinets. Here's what we handle so you're coordinating one company instead of a job site full of subcontractors.

Layout & design

We rework the floor plan for how you actually cook and gather — work triangle, islands, seating, and traffic — and show it to you in 3D before anything moves.

Custom cabinetry

Semi-custom and fully custom cabinetry built to fit your space — soft-close doors and drawers, pull-outs, pantry, and millwork that lasts for decades.

Countertops & stone

Templated, cut, and installed by our own stone shop — waterfall islands, seamless seams, and edges finished the way you want them.

Backsplash & tile

Full-height and standard backsplashes in tile, stone, or porcelain slab — set clean and sealed to hold up to real cooking.

Lighting & electrical

Recessed, pendant, and under-cabinet lighting, new circuits for appliances, and switching planned around how the room is used — permitted and to code.

Plumbing & fixtures

Sink, faucet, disposal, filtration, and pot-filler runs — relocated where the new layout needs them, by licensed trades.

Flooring

Hardwood, luxury vinyl, or large-format tile, transitioned cleanly into the rest of the home so the kitchen doesn't feel bolted on.

Appliances & venting

We set and connect your appliances, build the range hood or vent surround, and make sure everything fits and breathes the way it should.

Paint & finish carpentry

Trim, crown, toe-kicks, and paint — the small finish work that makes the difference between "renovated" and "done right."

How your kitchen gets built

The surface that anchors the room

The counter is the one thing everyone touches. Because we fabricate our own slabs, the material you pick is sourced, cut, and set by the same team — no hand-offs.

Straight talk on cost

What shapes the price of your kitchen

Every kitchen is different, so we won't publish a number that won't hold. Here's what actually moves the estimate — and how we keep it honest.

01

Size & layout changes

Keeping the footprint costs less than moving walls, windows, or the island. Relocating plumbing and gas adds trade time.

02

Cabinetry level

Semi-custom, fully custom, and the number of specialty pull-outs and organizers all shift the number.

03

Countertop material

Quartz, granite, quartzite, and marble sit at different price points — and slab count matters for large islands.

04

Appliances & fixtures

Your appliance package, sink, faucet, and lighting selections are yours to set — we build around whatever you choose.

05

Behind-the-walls work

Electrical upgrades, venting, and anything a permit or older home surfaces. We flag these before you sign, not after.

No surprises

A detailed estimate, free.

We'd rather earn your trust than guess a number online. Send us your kitchen and we'll walk it, price it line by line, and put it in writing — the figure you approve is the figure you pay.

Estimates are free and carry no obligation.

Good questions

Kitchen remodeling, answered

The things homeowners ask us most before they start. Have another? Just ask — we'll give you a straight answer.

How long does a kitchen remodel take?

Most full kitchens run about 4–8 weeks on site once demolition starts, depending on scope and how much moves. Design and selections happen before that. Because we cut stone in-house, we're not waiting on an outside slab yard, which is often where timelines slip.

Can I use my kitchen during the work?

The kitchen itself is out of service during the build, but we help you set up a temporary spot — fridge, microwave, and coffee — so daily life keeps moving. We seal off the work zone and clean up every day to keep the rest of your home livable.

Do you handle the permits?

Yes. We pull the permits and schedule the inspections as part of the job. We never suggest skipping them — permitted work protects your home and its value, and it's how licensed, insured work is supposed to be done.

Do you provide the cabinets and countertops, or do I source them?

We provide both. Cabinetry comes through our design team, and countertops are fabricated in our own stone shop. You make the selections in the showroom; we handle sourcing, cutting, and installation so it's one accountable team.

Will you give me a fixed price before we start?

Yes. After design and selections, you get a detailed, line-item estimate — no vague allowances. The number you approve is the number you pay, barring changes you request or hidden conditions we surface and clear with you first.

Do you work with out-of-town or rental owners?

Often. Many of our clients are second-home and rental owners on the Grand Strand. Live cameras and daily updates mean you can follow the whole project from anywhere, and we can turn a space around rental-ready.
